OCUL Communities

Forums for member library workers to discuss library and information practices and services.

OCUL Communities are member-initiated and member-driven virtual groups. Communities network, share and learn about library-related topics of interest while seeking opportunities to improve individual and shared infrastructure for existing and emerging initiatives.

Each Community is defined by a topic and led by a moderator or co-moderators.

Community Membership

Participation in OCUL Communities is for member library workers. A Community may include more than one person from a member library.

To join an OCUL Community, please contact its moderator(s). Moderator contact details are available on each Community webpage.

Starting a Community

A potential Community must submit a proposal to ocul@ocul.on.ca. Proposals are reviewed by the OCUL Executive Committee and then presented to the Council for approval.

A set of guidelines defines proposal requirements and additional information about starting an OCUL Community.
