OCUL will shortly begin the search for a new Executive Director due to the planned retirement of current Executive Director Kathy Scardellato on July 31, 2015.

Since joining OCUL as Executive Director in 2007 from systems and web services development at Toronto Public Library, Kathy has guided the consortium through almost a decade of innovation, expansion and success.  Her leadership has helped strengthen OCUL’s position as an innovator in the shared development of digital library services and collections for Ontario’s universities.

Kathy will continue to forge ahead with numerous OCUL activities for the next six months, as well as preparing the organization for transition to a new Executive Director. "I know I speak for past, current and future colleagues when I say we're extremely grateful to Kathy for her significant contributions to OCUL and the library community," says OCUL Chair Martha Whitehead. "Long after she retires, Kathy’s professionalism, mentorship and wisdom will continue to be felt in Ontario, across Canada and abroad."

Further information regarding the Executive Director search will be posted on the OCUL website shortly.
